The Couture's Core Reaches its Apex

The Couture apartment tower in downtown Milwaukee has reached its highest point, with 44 floors, and is on track to welcome its first residents on April 1. It will physically stand about three stories taller than its 44 floors due to penthouses, mechanical areas, and higher heights on lower levels. The project, led by contractor J.H. Findorff & Son and designed by RINKA, is estimated to cost $190 million and is expected to be around 515 feet tall at completion. In comparison, Milwaukee's tallest building remains the U.S. Bank Center at 601 feet. Another apartment tower, Hines' Third Ward building at 333 N. Water St., has also topped out at 31 stories and is set to open units to residents in May.
