UWM Art History Gallery
The Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery is home to the UWM Art Collection and serves both the campus and greater Milwaukee community and compliment’s UWM’s educational and outreach mission. The design exposes the high concrete ceilings and polished floors and uses simple backdrops with dramatic light to showcase the department’s extensive collection. This project was part of a multi-year relationship with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that helped shape visions and spaces within departments across the campus.
