LISBON AVENUE CHARETTE

As part of the Washington Park neighborhood’s recently completed Quality of Life Plan, a design charrette generated conceptual ideas for key sites, supporting the community’s vision of Lisbon Avenue as a safe, vibrant, and family-friendly destination.

Working with Rooted & Rising, City of Milwaukee, and CE Planning Studio; RINKA was one of 6 architectural firms that each had their own site located along Lisbon Avenue. Assigned ‘The Gateway’ site, RINKA’s design enhances pedestrian connectivity to the Urban Ecology Center, incorporates youth programming, and adds community garden spaces and a green roof.
